A facial massage is performed after skin cleansing treatment. Based on your specific skin type or condition of your skin, facial treatments are applied. If your skin is greasy, the facial massage can help draw out impurities from the skin. Facial normally stay on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes and comprise ingredients like clay, black moor mud, Aloe Vera, Algae, essential oils, massage oils, herbs and vitamins. You can get a facial treatment in order to make your skin's condition better and to get a sense of relaxation. Normally, in a facial massage the neck, face and upper chest are the areas that are treated. On the basis of client's needs and skin areas to be treated, rhythm, continuity and the right depth, are the characteristics of a good facial treatment.
Normally, after interval of four to six weeks,  a facial massage is usually performed and the skin is cleansed completely before each time the facial massage is carried out. A facial massage is  applied that absorbs the unnecessary grease on the skin after cleansing treatment. It takes about twenty to twenty five minutes for completing the facial massage. Due to increased blood circulation in the area where facial treatment is carried out, the facial skin may turn slightly red following the treatment. After the facial massage, some spots may also become apparent on the skin. This may be due to cleansing performed before facial massage.
